  1. Yeah, I saw the statistics , but im going to apply anyway. im retaking the teas in september to hopefully get a better grade.
  2. anyone applying to gsu spring 2012 my GPA is 3.4. Im retaking the teas i got a 76, i think, the first time. i asked before but not to many people responded, so im asking again:D.
  3. you can pick from whats available. you need shot records(i think they are looking for 2 mmr shots) and proof that you had chicken pox( actually i just gave her the year that i had it).
  4. I start my orientation on july 21st for volunteering i will be in the lactation department. It was a quick process they let you choose your hours. You can probably join the orientation on the 21st i dont know if they have a limit of how many people can be in orientation at one time. I also go to ga state im applying for spring 2012. Hope to see you at grady GOOD LUCK!
  5. i was just wondering if anyone went to mercer univ. or georgia state and could give me some pros and cons. i live in atlanta so ga state would be very easy to get to and i know that the pre reqs for mercer would be in macon i was just wondering if it would me worth my time to move to macon for my pre req or if ga state has a good nursing program? the other thing is the cost ga state being a public school the tuition is way less than mercer if i have financial aid i could work it out. But anywho i just wanted to know if mercer would be worth my time and MONEY because i heard that mercer students are hired quicker than other schools is that true? or does ga state have a good program.
  6. i really want to become a nurse and im just starting to apply to schools to start my pre reqs so i thought that it would be a good idea if i worked in the hospital as a unit secretary to learn how a hospital operates first hand. So i look up jobs and of course you either need experience in a hospital or a certificate. now i have experience with front desk work at a dental office. But my problem is im looking for a school with a certificate program for a unit secretary or health unit coordinator. I found a few in georgia the only problem is i live in east atlanta and the closest one i found is in vidalia. i have found similar programs in atlanta but the cost 13 THOUSAND dollars, and i cant be in debt before i even start nursing school. So my question is does any one know of a certificate program that is closer or can i possibly do it online or do i need to look under another title? THANKS in advance
  7. i was hoping someone could help me i want to become an RN but i am considering becoming a LPN first but i want to work in NICU. so i was wondering are there any lpn's in your nicu?
