anyone applying to gsu spring 2012 my GPA is 3.4. Im retaking the teas i got a 76, i think, the first time. i asked before but not to many people responded, so im asking again:D.

orchidflower- http://www.gsu.edu/admissions/check_status.html but there's really no point, because I've been accepted and my status still has not changed.

Hello everyone else- please don't give up yet...

I started on my PINS review today and just got done. It took a while because there was a lot of info on there but the 20 quest quiz at the end was VERY easy. There are a lot of forms to fill out and a checklist of things to do. As soon as you get your acceptance letters, please start on it right away:)

When you get accepted, PINS Review will automatically appear in your ULEARN. As I was working on my PINS, I notice on the bottom rt corner that there were a few other students on there too. Knowing me, I started wondering if I could figure out who else was on there. Then I realized that I could actually figure out EXACTLY how many students were accepted so far by checking the roster on the Mailing list. HAHA...BINGO!!! There are 13 ppl on there minus one faculty member, therefore we have 12 accepted students so far for ACE:) I remember the very nice lady up front telling me "thirty something" letters were sent out. As soon as they accept you, they put your PINS Review up, and so far, but there were only 12 on there. The rest must have been for the Traditional Program. The numbers didn't match up so my guess is "thirty something" letters went out TOTAL (Ace & Traditional) and 12 was the actual number from ACE (first wave) since there are only 12 students on the PINS Review. I have a strong intuition that may be the case. And if I am correct, that means there are 60 more spots for ACE and prob just a little less for Traditional!!! YAY!!! Keep your heads up and I will check on the roster frequently to let you know if there are any changes. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you:)

Sorry, have so many grammatical errors in there! I was too excited, I didn't dbl check my post b4 I submitted

I think Kel3 is right, they just got started and that was only the first wave...there will be a few more waves, then the waitlisters & denials last

Thanks for the update! I think that we all love hearing new news, it's keeps us going!

Thanks yayaccepted!! Great news!! For some reason when you said thirty something letters went out I freaked!! because I was only thinking for one program. Im just so nervous I cant even think right lol. thanks for clarifying it for me !!

Thanks you guys! You guys are awesome for informing us like this. :))

I will try not to lose faith either. I was actually already looking into my plan B and was getting mad cause I honestly had no idea what to do and nobody at the school was willing to see me and help me. But I guess I'll just sit quietly for now and wait. We can do this guys!

I'm glad I met all of you, by the way. If I had no contact with anybody, I would probably be pretty upset and crazy right about now. :p

Thanks!

Hey! I found out some new info yesterday... First, I wouldn't trust the numbers given by the front desk because some of them in 8th flr office didn't even know that any letters had gone out and some make up #s- not that they are trying to throw us off, just because I really think they don't know. As I mentioned previously, a girl in my class was accepted to the ACE and she found out that 4 had been accepted to ACE and 8 to traditional, so that would be the 12 yaya mentioned. So after having a meeting I went up to 9th flr and a lady on the review board opened up a file with a list of reviewed applicants and my name wasn't there, so they haven't even reviewed some of us! The applications were sent to the review board in 3 waves, the last one on the 18th so HANG IN THERE! It'll be mid-november, like everyone is saying, before everyone knows. Also, I did learn that you should go ahead and register if you haven't heard and that NUTR 3300 is one to add because it replaces NUTR 3200 once you get into the nursing program.

Thanks!!!!

That's helpful information. :D

So hopefully we'll all hear something soon. When did you turn your application in Swall??

Turned it in at the office on 9/30

Ohh. Okay. So I guess they probably do it in order of how it was turned in. :p

Well, that is somewhat comforting. lol.

I'm not sure which way this goes...

STILL NO...
