Anyone Applying to Emory U? (BSN)

I sent in my application to Emory's BSN program on Dec. 5, 2005. I received my acceptance letter on the 20th, so it didn't take too long. You might not have to wait until April. :)

good luck guys, im in the program now, i dont think youll be disappointed. its not perfect (what program really is i guess), but im happy here.

Hey blee1 - thanks for replying! I'm just curious - what is it that you like/don't like about the program? Don't have to be long or anything - I'm just interested in seeing what you think. Thanks in advance!

Did you hear on December 20th or Jan? I applied in Dec as well and am still waiting to hear. They requested my grades for the fall term and I have been waiting since then? Do you have any of the prerequisites to finish? If you don't mind me asking what is your GPA? Thanks and hopefully I will be starting in the fall as well.

Hi chaonurse!

I heard back from Emory on Jan. 20. I still have the Intro to Chemistry and the Intro to Organic Chemistry to complete....going to knock those out this semester and summer. My GPA is currently a 3.7.

I also took Micro at GPC this fall. Who did you have as a teacher? You said you heard from Emory over the holidays, was it in December you heard? My letter is coming next week, I heard from the office through email. I am anxiously awaiting the decision. Are you a second degree student? I am, I was a 1st grade teacher before. Thanks and good luck with Chemistry.

I took Micro down at Rockdale with Miss Kelly. Was a great class! :)

And actually, yes, my post above was incorrect. I heard back from Emory on Dec. 20. Well really, I was out of the country until Dec. 31st, but the letter made it to my mailbox on Dec. 20. :)

I am also waiting to hear from Emory. Is there anyone else that applied in Nov/Dec that is waiting to hear. I know the letters are coming next week. I emailed the admission office and they said Feb 15th. Now I am really nervous. If anyone else is in this limbo let me know.

I applied in January, but I heard that the letters will be out in March...when did you ask about the February release, maybe March got changed to February....

Hey all - just wondering if anyone out here has applied to Emory's BSN program...just sent in my application the other day, and now all I have to do is wait...OMG, I don't think I can wait 'til APRIL!!!
Ah, well, guess I have to hang in there and wait, good luck to all!

An update...(drumroll, please)...

As of February 17, 2006...THE acceptance letter confirms that I AM a member of the BSN class of 2008 at Emory!!! I'm gonna be in the Fall '06 semester, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! OMG, I can't beleve it!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, must remain calm...

Or not...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Guess I didn't have to wait 'til April after all!!!!
