Finally someone in the program responded!!!!! Waiting anxiously is an understatement...I'm heading in today to find out when they plan to let everyone know. For placement scores I had 118 math, 108 reading and 118 Grammar. Wasn't to happy with the reading but I'll see. What about you????
Hi Jack (an assumption),
I called last week and spoke to the secretary of the Allied Health Program and she took my name and number and said she would call me back with dates of mailings. I have grown a little skeptical of QC call backs so I called admissions. I was told by March!? I explained that the letter states Febrauary and she said they plan Feb, but they would rather be safe than sorry.
Fast forward to the next AM and the secretary from AH called back and said that they hoped to mail them that day and the following week (that was last Friday) so I have been stalking my mail man!
I got a 113, 117, and 119 (reading, sentence and math).
Finished Micro last semester with Matt Sullivan…. Busted my butt but walked away with an A. I’m all done with my classes I just have English Comp II left. I didn’t want any classes hanging over my head while I’ll was in the “program” Why sociology??? Is that a requirement for a BA program?
I somehow got my BS from Umass without Sociology. Yes, we need it for our RN. I have to fight for my English Comp II. I took a lot of Senior writing seminars. I have Atryzik on Saturdays for micro. I will be all done with all my classes after that. Good job on the A! I am concerned this willbe the course that will ruin my 4.0!
Of all my classes Micro was tough for me… hated chemoheterotrophs, photoheterotrophs, chemoautotrophs, photoautotrophs blah blah blah…. Not to worry though you’ll do fine all my fellow classmates (the girls) did great. Have to run but I’ll get back to you tonight and let you know if I find out anything in admissions . Have a great day!!!!

Just wondering if anyone has applied to Quincy College for the fulltime RN program (2009) I submitted my application over a month ago and was looking to talk to others who may have applied. Thanks
