Anyone apply to St. Mary's CRNA 2019?

Published

Hello all! Just wondering if anyone applied to St. Mary's for the Summer 2019 semester. Has anyone heard anything back or know what their timeline is? I had heard that they no longer do live interviews. Is this correct? Anyway, good luck to whoever applied and hopefully we get to work together next year!

I wonder why mine and yours says "decision mailed" while other's still say "application under review". Maybe everyone's status just isn't updated yet? The prospective students page does say that the "decision letters are going out".

Looking back at last years post some said their status changed online and some said it didn't. It didn't really make sense. And it didn't matter whether their status changed because some were accepted and some weren't when their status did or did not change. It is strange though.

Yeah it was really inconsistent and didn't really seem to mean one thing or the other. Guess we'll jusy have to wait and see....

A friend from work received their acceptance letter today. We live in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul), so should be the first to get letters. Acceptance letter was dated June 8th 2018, said that you have 30 days from date of letter to send in $1000 placeholder fee. This makes me feel like they have sent everyones letters out so we should be hearing soon!

Any chance you know their stats as far as GPA, Certs, and experience??

Stats don't make the full picture here it seems. People with less GPAs have gotten in with less certs and years of experience, but had amazing writing skills. They look at science GPA heavily, and writing abilities through your papers. Of course all the other stuff matters a little, but i know people with terrible stats who have been accepted into this program and many programs across the country.

Is the acceptance just a letter or is there a packet? I was just wondering what I have to look out for.

It's just a letter saying congrats, pay us a $1000 in 30 days, people in Minneapolis i know got acceptance letters yesterday, should be more today and whatnot depending on the postal route.

I got an emailed copy of the letter today saying I'm waitlisted #3! Either way I'm happy and hope everyone hears good news!!

I still haven't heard anything and I'm fairly close to Minneapolis!

I'm all the way in Los Angeles but it seems that the letter is coming today via informed delivery USPS but they also sent me a pdf of the letter via e-mail.

Congratulations! That means no matter what you are in. It is highly likely that they will get through to your name on the list, but either way congrats!
