Just looking for company ... Has anyone applied for ammerman's fall 2011 nursing program? What are your grades and does anyone know last years GPA cutoff? Also, do you know anyone who got in without four A's?
This is a new thread...others are from a few urs ago.
Well then I have no chance....I will just reapply for spring. I am not getting any younger and the stress of the whole game might be too much for me...not sure. I have four kids all under seven and I am up to my eyeballs in stuff... PTA president, girl scout leader for two troops...how much more can one woman take? Maybe I should reconsider my goals if I don't get in after one more shot....

the spring program is actually even harder to get in to. dont give up yet until that mailman brings that letter to your mailbox!
Looks like I got waitlisted for Ammerman.... I honestly just don't get it. I have a 3.9 GPA, so I have no idea how they are picking people. Now what do I do?
Did you apply for days or evenings? I know evenings have a lot less seats to go around. I totally understand how you are upset, I haven't received my letter yet, but I was rejected from SBU with a 4.0 cumulative gpa in over 60 credits and 200+ volunteer hours. It killed me especially hearing about people with wayyyyy lower gpa's and less to no volunteering that got accepted, sometimes it just isn't fair. Don't forget though that a lot of people do get called off the waitlist, so don't lose hope. If I was you, I would go question that letter anyway. Good Luck!:)

HopefuLInurse... Wow! But don't let it get you down. I know, as for myself I was admitted to the Spring part time program at Grant for this semester and turned it down... so there will be people who decline this semester as well, and I can only believe that with a 3.9 you have to be at the very top of the wait list.
Never would I have thought that the competition was this tough!!!
