yeah i also took my exam last dec. 20 but unfortunately my phone was stolen last january. i called them to have my contact # changed. last february my friend texted me (she also took the exam last dec 20) telling me that SLMC already texted here for the sched of her initial interview. i was so frustrated that time so i went to SLMC hr office to personally to talk to them. unfortunately the guard just instructed me to write my new contact in a piece of paper and he'll just be the one who will give it to HR. then after a week of my friend's initial interview, SLMC texted my friend for her final interview! that time i knew that they will never text me.
eventhough she passed the interviews, my friend was saddened by the fact that SLMC told her that she will be only on 2nd priority because she is FAT. they told her that for them to consider her again, she should lose some weight. i think my friend is 160-170lbs and stands 5'6.

to brigz: don't know if you still remember me but i pm'd you last march ata. sorry for late reply din. anyway, me too i contacted them TWICE thru phone call kasi nga i changed my number already. but until now NO TEXT MESSAGE OR CALL from them. and then i read your post now, about your friend. huhuhu... I'm should i say... heavier than your friend (even though i also stand 5'6''). so i'm thinking my weight is one of the reasons why I still haven't heard from them? how about today? still no word from them?

to starskyervy: i hope things turn out well for you (you too brigz).

as for me, well i won't keep my hopes up, not anymore, as i've been hearing that St Lukes do mind an applicants weight. oh well... :scrying:

hi I'm just new here, is there anyone already done with the technical interview at SLMC-GC? I'm scheduled for the technical interview and I really don't know what to expect. Is there anyone here kind enough to give me some tips or scope on the topics that i should read so that i will be prepared when they asked me. Feedback will be very much appreciated! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

ei i think you should call SLMC AGAIN! you dont have to be ashamed of your weight. my friend already reached the "medical examination" part before she was asked to lose weight.

right now im not hoping that SLMC will camm/text me because in another forum, the HR said that the guys to girls ratio is 1:4 and they dont acept male applicants anymore. oh well thank God i have a job as a nurse but i really want to transfer in a private tertiary hospital that's why i keep on passing my resume to other hospitals. hehe

to brigz...,,, sorry to hear about that(ur friend).. when i went there personally in SLMC, the guard also told me that,,, but I insisted to talk personally to the HR.. so I went there,,, gave them my new contacts and then told me that they'll just txt me... until now there's no txt... I think I just have to call them later... good luck to us...

the 3 of us changed our contact #'s. we aready called the HR to have our #s changed but still we haven't received a text from them. oh well... at least we know that if you lost your #, you should not expect to be texted by them. im really disappointed because i passed my resume twice in SLMC (september and october) and i really had high hopes that they will hire me. i really want to work there because it's the best hospital in the philippines and i also live in taguig :cry:

I'm done with the technical interview. Ms Gianna told me that they haven't made a decision yet if they're going to take me or not. Do you think I should wait or is it just their way of saying that I didn't pass?

To whimsey: In the technical interview, they would give you different situations but the gist is that you tell them what you know about taking care of a patient after a certain procedure (ex. heart surgery).

you should keep on passing your credentials to other hospitals. i think what they told you is a nice way of saying that you will have to wait a very long time or you did not pass their standards

hi there! I called them again saying that i was the one who personally went in their office that contacts have been changed, and also asking them when will be my initial exam,,, but still the HR told me that someone will be getting in touch with me soon... oh I think I'm finally losing my hopes here... anyways,,, I applied in tondo medical center as trainee,,, orientation will be next month.. but i'm still not closing my doors yet to st. luke's... so while waiting for any txts or skeds,, I'll keep myself busy...
