just wondering how everyone feels about the whole "waiting" thing.
Also, colleges are on strike so i'm pretty sure acceptance letters will come out pretty late.
Goodluck to all of us!

Hello Sevillje; I received your inbox message, however, I am unable to respond until I reach 15 posts...almost there! The competition is very fierce for the RPN program, as you know, right now...off hand...I can't remember my entrance averages - the first week has been intense and my head is full of aspetic techniques and bed making, nursing theorists, and anatomy - and I know it will get even more full. BUT I LOVE IT!!! I'm sure the strike will have an impact - and I feel your pain; the wait for the acceptance letter was horrible!
Sorry if this post is rambling or disjointed...
Haha thanks. I just want to know how were your high school marks and HOAE exam. Maybe that will give me a chance or not.

Hey, for some reason i couldn't respond to your message any other way.
I know this year the Mohawk/Mcmaster RN program had an 80 cut off, but you had to have at least 75 in chem, math, bio, english. I am not too sure about the RPN (im in BScN {RN}).
Here's a website in how the two jobs would differ
http://www.cno.org/Global/docs/prac/41062_UtilizeRnRpn.pdf
Also, usually you can email a coordinator right from the mohawk website and they will be able to answer your questions:

I am pretty sure thought that the cut off for the RPN was lower than the bscn one or equal..but it depends on the year you apply, because if that year applicants have a high average it will be higher, and if they have a lower average the cut off is lower.
Good luck though :)
Ps. The strike is now over!

Hi there,
I accepted my offer of admission to Centennial College - January 2012 - RPN program. My average going in was an 86%. I myself don't know what the cut off is. Regardless of what the cut off average is, always aim for higher. Can I ask what colleges you applied to? Good luck to everyone as well!!!!!!

^ I also accepted my Centennial offer for Jan '12, though my average was around 77%. The waiting game is frustrating..
So I guess you are at the HP & Technology Campus right? The glad the campus is small. No pressure in getting to our classes lol.
Actually, it says Morningside campus for me
Yup = ) that is the HP & Technology Campus (right on Morningside & Ellesmere) Did you get your fee statement yet by any chance?

If anyone is waiting for a spot for the George Brown RPN January '12 program, fear not! I am calling them tomorrow and withdrawing my name after trying to get a hold of them for a month, I've been accepted into an RN program.
Congrats and good luck!!!! RN program for January?
Nope unfortunately I haven't received it yet
