The deadline is the last Friday in March. From now on I going to open my options because I am now aware competition is pretty fierce for jobs; for some reason I just assumed a job was going to just appear and float down in my hand like a feather, how naive. BTW I graduate this upcoming May. I am starting to get pretty freaked out about jobs now. And, have you all heard anything about Scott & White? Seton was my first choice, but I'm just making more room.

Hi, I'm actually wondering the same thing! What unit will you be working on? :)

I got a job offer on a trauma floor. How about you? When did you get your verbal offer? I'm guessing the delay is the result of the holiday coming up next week, but it makes me nervous that I haven't heard anything in almost a week.

I was offered a position on a stroke floor. I got my verbal offer on Monday but have yet to hear back from HR. I hope it's soon because I am moving there from out of state soon and need to know the start date, etc.

Hi NurseChristine6, I am moving from across the country as well. I still haven't heard back from them and I'm getting nervous now. January will be here very soon! Yikes!

Don't be nervous, it took them quite awhile to get back to me as well. HR is extremely busy but they will eventually contact you with start date and offer. I think they have start dates every 2 weeks, so there will be one on Jan 14 and another on Jan 28.

anyone heard anything about start date yet... got my verbal offer a few weeks ago and have still not heard a thing.. wondering if I should call HR...also anyone know about work hours or pay..thanks so much

Hi bigblue75. I also got a verbal offer a few weeks ago and haven't heard from HR... I'm a little worried at this point because I have to move from across the country so I'm going to need time to actually get there. What floor will you be working on? Are you excited!?

Very excited..just worried as I have heard nothing.. I was offered the neuro floor.. can't wait to get started..what floor and hours are you working

Has anyone heard anything yet??!!!

Hey guys! Finally heard from HR this past Monday after getting a verbal offer from the manager weeks ago. It takes a while! I guess they're really busy with all the new hires, etc. Anywho, there are start dates every two weeks from what I understand. The next one available is Jan 28th, and before then you have to go to Employee Health for the physical, drug screen, and to submit paperwork to HR. The nurse recruiter was very nice and emails you a ton of information! Hope you all hear back soon too. :)

Are any of you planning on emailing or calling hr regarding start date..It has been weeks with no word for me. Nurse christine did they call or email u with start date?

I don't have the HR contact I need to speak with. It's been almost three weeks for me and I've yet to hear anything. Not sure what to do at this point. I guess just wait... if I get another job in the meantime I'm going to take it and I wont feel bad about it. This is getting kinda ridiculous and frustrating.
