  1. No, I haven't heard anything yet bigblue75. Have you?
  2. I don't have the HR contact I need to speak with. It's been almost three weeks for me and I've yet to hear anything. Not sure what to do at this point. I guess just wait... if I get another job in the meantime I'm going to take it and I wont feel bad about it. This is getting kinda ridiculous and frustrating.
  3. Has anyone heard anything yet??!!!
  4. Hi Autumnofage! I'm sorry to hear we had similar interview experiences. I don't think I'll ever agree to a phone interview again, I feel like I wasn't given an opportunity to really speak or connect with the interviewers. Did they tell you when you would hear back from them? Did they ask if you would be willing to come down and shadow on the floor and meet with them in person? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we both get good news. Hang in there... I'm sending positive vibes your way! :)
  5. Thanks Prettyladie and Lovelymo79 for the input. I'm trying to remain optimistic. I felt a strange vibe during the whole interview. Both the interviewers talked so much I felt like I barely said anything of substance. Does that make sense? I hung up the phone and literally said out loud, "what just happened?!" We'll see how it goes.
  6. Hey guys. So, I had my phone interview. I don't think it went well at all; it was a very strange interview...They didn't ask me anything about my clinical experiences. The only nursing related question they asked was what nursing school I attended. I'm a little stunned by the whole experience. They said I wouldn't hear anything until next week, to be honest I don't feel like I'm going to get a position. I'm really disappointed.
  7. Hello NurseChristine6! I'm pretty sure they do 12 hour shifts. The nurse recruiter I spoke with said most new graduates will be on the night shift, at least initially... I don't know the answers to the rest of your questions yet (my interview is later this week.) If I find out the answers during my interview I'll be sure to pass the information along to you. I'm out of state also and doing a phone interview. What unit did you apply to?
  8. That's so awesome ktlam! Congratulations!!!!!!!!! How exciting!
  9. Hey Ktlam! Thanks for the information. I don't interview until later this week but I wanted to get a feel for the usual turn-around time on their decisions.... Ya know, see how long I'll be torturing myself over every aspect of the interview. :-) Are you doing a phone interview or an in person interview?
  10. Katielady, quick question... How long did it take for you to hear back from Scott & White with an offer?
  11. CONGRATULATIONS Katielady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! That's awesome news. I haven't interviewed yet. I'm so so so nervous; I can't wait for it to be over. Congrats again! :)
  12. HI Katielady! Thanks for the helpful response! Have you heard back from them regarding your interview? I'll keep my fingers crossed that you hear good news. :-) I'm currently out in California.
  13. Hey everyone! I'm joining this party very late it looks like. Better late than never! I applied for a med/surg position yesterday and got called today to schedule a phone interview for next week. I'm a little nervous about it! I'm out of state so I'm really glad they are having me interview over the phone. Any advice in regards to what to expect during the phone interview would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone who still needs to interview good luck and those who have been offered positions congratulations!
  14. I talked to a friend who went through the application process last year and she warned me that the process takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R. She said she didn't hear back from them until 5 weeks after she had originally applied and even then it took an additional three weeks to be offered a job.
  15. What is everyone's experience and education background? I don't have any hospital experience and I have a BSN.
