I was hoping someone had some info on this program:(. Is there any other info about LPN programs in GA?
Honestly, I have applied twice and I cant get in. I passed TEAS test both times and made it to the selection process and I cant get in. Maybe because they only accpet 20 students....and there is 100 to 300 applicants. I am so frustrated. I honetly would say to try a different school. This school is quite rediculous when it comes to the amount of students the Lpn program accepts.
I went there in 2003. I already had degrees but was wanting to try nursing. I applied and went. The instructors left a lot to be desired. They were really bad. They fought in front of us and acted like they were in high school rather than being instructors. I advise both of you to go somewhere else. I have no idea what they are like now but from what I learned about the school, you are better off going to a real school. Good luck.
I know this is an old thread but I graduated LPN with Ga Piedmont, formerly Dekalb tech and I must say I loved it. The instructors were very nice and helpful and wanted us to succeed. There was only one who had a short demeanor and was occasionally rude. I finished in 03/2011 and I hear she is no longer there. I would recommend the school.

Hi, I know this thread is pretty old but I would like to know if you had any trouble getting into a RN school? Im applying at GPTC to start this fall but I realized the LPN program is not privately accredited. From your profile looks like you're already a RN?
