ANybody recieved interviews for CSULB spring 2011?

Hi, I was told by an acquaintance that interview invitations for spring 2011 BSN will handed out by september 20th.

THis does seem kind of early, but I haven't heard back from CSULB at all and so I was wondering when the interviews are. The CSULB lady has been very busy and hasn't gotten back to me.

Does anybody know if interview invitations have already been handed out for fall 2010 admissions?

Yeah, reading all this super senior stuff, re interviewing, etc is driving me crazy.. haha.. it makes sense if the delay has to do with funding. Like everyone, I'm sick of waiting and just wanna know already! I really hope we find out this week or next week. I'm gonna stop by the campus and see if the lady gives me some hope by looking up my stuff too.. lol.. might as well.

People have called too... someone in this thread a couple of pages back said they're "officially" in because they called.

hseajin900 - for ucla, you need a year of general chem, 1st series of organic chem, physiology, anatomy, molecular biology (not microbiology), and a class called medical micro for nursing students (its only offered at la). the program altogether is five years (pre-requisites, general education, & nursing curriculum). you also need three letters of recommendation and a personal essay onto why you want to become a nurse. interview is not required at all anymore. they only admit students for the fall. i was admitted for the 10' fall; however, i wrote a petition towards the dean of my intentions of perhaps going into engineering. so they postponed my application for next fall.

i've been a student at ucla for the past 2 years. i'm also thinking about getting into chemical engineering, i'm beginning to think that nursing is not the field for me anymore.

as for people calling in and checking if their admitted, is this particularly true? i just called and they said they haven't released any information to anybody at all. i'm guessing that after the interviewing is done with the other students, it will be released. i'm just like yall, i just want to figure out if i'm accepted or rejected, so i could just move on. i understand your frustration because whether if your rejected or accepted seriously depends on what your next move or action is.

No idea, but an applicant from a couple of pages back said that he got in. He didn't state it was unofficial either. lol. Ugh, so confused right now... the program needs to hurry up with the list.

so this is your 3rd yr in UCLA? well, I hope you find whats best for your interest! I'm sure you will do great in either, since you scored 10/10 you said?

so, you scored 100% on TEAS total huh?

can you please help me here, I am a transfer student,

can you please tell me the GPA and the teas scores you had. I am so stressed, I am applying now for Fall 2011. I want to see if I have a chance or I am compatible. I Have 4.0 g.p.a for sci, and around 3.7 for GE....I haven't taken the teas yet..which version of study manual did you use/recommend to study for teas?

sorry I have so many questions, just one last one: for instance, since i have cumulative gpa of 3.5, what happens if university rejects me because my gpa is low and nursing school accepts me?

Exactly, I wanna know already so I can move on too. I don't want to start planning my next move until I know for sure I am not accepted into the program. Its been like over three weeks since the interviews.. what a wait! I was so disappointed when Nov. 1st came and there was no list. lol.. but I guess there's nothing you can do about it, but just wait! I just hope I'm not disappointed... to wait all this time and not be accepted. blahhhh

I spoke to the Dean, and that's the information they presented me with. Ain't that a long time to wait? Another week!??!?!
