Anybody applying to Csueb nursing program this year for the fall of 2018?

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I wanted to get a possible study group going for the Hesi Teas exam. I will be taking mine this December(2017), but if anyone else in the bay area wants to start studying together that would be much appreciated! I have yet to study for it. I have one pre req left this fall (intro to micro). If your also applying to Csueb for the following year it will be great to meet some of you pre nursing students before hand :) , I am also a recently honorably discharged veteran who is new to the bay area! I may apply to deanza nursing program as well if anyone else is in that area as well. if anyone is down to meet at a coffee shop or school comment down below .

Wow... CSUEB Nursing emailed me at 2pm saying I am on the waitlist... did anyone else hear back so soon???

Yeah they messaged me, I didn't get in :/ but I got accepted to CSULB so im not too sad lol. Good luck to those that were accepted!!

Yeah, they're sending out notifications. I didn't get in, but i got into SMU. Still waiting for SFSU's decision this week. Good luck and congratulations to those who got in!

Got an acceptance e-mail at 2:50pm.

kmbxo, what was your score for CSULB nursing program? I got rejected from their university due to low cumulative GPA but my score was 9.54 =(

I got an email this afternoon at around 3pm and I fortunately got accepted into the CSUEB Nursing Program at Hayward. Congratulations to those who got accepted and good luck to those who got waitlisted and to those who are still waiting to hear decisions for other nursing institutions!

my score was 9.66! my friend who got 9.53 was waitlisted so thats weird you didnt get waitlisted too. only the top 30 applicants got admitted so far but they're going to do another round of acceptances eventually

It was the university who rejected me. I called SoN and Monalisa said they didn't even look at my application because of that. Super irritated.

CSU Chico rejected me at first and I had to call them and they had a mix up with my transcripts so they changed my general rejection to an acceptance, it would be unfortunate if who ever looked over your application did something similar. but hey atleast you have east bay!! im happy i got into long beach but i still wish i had this school as an option too

Congratulations to all who got in to CSUEB for Fall 2018! I am waitlisted; I have a question for those accepted. How long do they give you to confirm your spot?

Thanks!

First off - CONGRATS TO ALL THOSE WHO GOT ACCEPTED! I got my acceptance email today, too! But for those of you who didn't get in, or got waitlisted, do NOT feel bad because it sounds as though they gave a much higher priority to native students (myself included) this year since they had some issues with almost none of their own students making it into the program a couple years ago. And we also got an extra 15 points because of it. Don't let it get you down :)

CONGRATULATIONS to those who got accepted :)

I am also in the waitlist, but am very hopeful. I was reading previous class forums and learned that some students received notifications up until July. It just sucks though, because they were able to at least know where they rank in the waitlist. However, this year, it seems that the Nursing Dept is not going to provide this information. So, just have to patient, to my fellow waitlisters.

Again, CONGRATS! And good luck to y'all :)

Congrats to everyone who made it in :) and to those on the waitlist (like myself) keep your hopes up! Also, those who didn't make it, don't be discouraged, and don't give up! I talked to CSUEB and they said the waitlist is 40 applicants long. I noticed in previous forums the waitlist was about 75 ppl due to the fact that students were split between Hayward and Concord campus, so they had 120 spots to fill. It makes sense for the waitlist to be 40 this time since the application is only for Hayward. In previous years they got maybe about half way or more down the list.. so I'm crossing my fingers I'm in the top 20 :'(. I wish they would just let us know our number.
