Anybody applying to Csueb nursing program this year for the fall of 2018?

I wanted to get a possible study group going for the Hesi Teas exam. I will be taking mine this December(2017), but if anyone else in the bay area wants to start studying together that would be much appreciated! I have yet to study for it. I have one pre req left this fall (intro to micro). If your also applying to Csueb for the following year it will be great to meet some of you pre nursing students before hand :) , I am also a recently honorably discharged veteran who is new to the bay area! I may apply to deanza nursing program as well if anyone else is in that area as well. if anyone is down to meet at a coffee shop or school comment down below .

Hello! I am also applying to CSUEB for fall 2018 and (retaking) my TEAS in December. You taking them December 16th at Hayward?

I got an email saying that I was accepted to CSUEB but it says nothing about the nursing program. Will I get a separate acceptance letter to the program or rejection? The deadline to accept admission is 5/1 but the program doesn't notify you of acceptance until late April early May.

Who's everything going? Did you hear from CSUEB yet? and how was your Teas exam? I applied to CSUEB as well but I haven't heard from them yet aside from an email stating that they have received my University and Nursing application. I was also considering applying to De Anza however I didn't pass the grammar portion of the HESI exam so I have to retake it again. I also applied to SJSU, SFSU. On a lighter note, I am currently on the ALTERNATE LIST for Evergreen College. I'm hoping for a good news soon. :)

Nice job making the waitlist! What's your TEAS/GPA? I don't think CSUEB is planning on getting back to people until April/May.. apparently they had over 800 applicants for the 60-some spots so it's gonna take a little while before we hear back from them

Hey guys! I'm so anxious. I took the TEAS 3 times and got the same score of 79%. I have a 3.8 GPA, native student, and language points. I doubt I'll get in.

Hey everyone.

I applied for the CSUEB nursing program, which the deadline for was in Decembr. I haven't heard anything yet. I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread, but can someone tell me why the HESI is being taken? I thought the exam was TEAS only, which I took.

It's just the TEAS. What did you get on the TEAS?

Hey,

The HESI is only for certain programs like Samuel Merritt and some schools like DeAnza. For East Bay, you only need the TEAS, which you have taken already so you don't have to worry about the HESI.

I also received a notice for acceptance for CSUEB. The nursing program should send a separate notification regarding admissions into the program. Good luck and hopefully you get a second notification!

They said on the website that they're going to inform by the last week of May. But if you have read through the last year's student thread, here is the linkhttps://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/fall-to-csueb-1064562-page16.html And you're right, if you get in, you will have acceptance letter from Nursing department.

I think so too, I think they're going to do the separate notification.
