Any WSU applicants for Spring 2014?

Hello Everyone,

I'm applying for the Spring 2014 BSN program at the Tri-Cities campus for WSU and was wondering if anyone else out there is trying for the Tri-Cities campus too?

Congratulations on those of you who have received your interview letters. I got mine today and I'm scheduled for Monday the 21th in the morning. :) Guess I'll have to spend Sunday night up in Spokane again. I did that last Aug to take the TEAS but that was find since I was well rested and didn't have to worry about driving up to Spokane in the morning and stress about making it to the test on time.

I feel like some of you guys on being anxious and excited all at the same time. It's been a long wait since applications closed last July. Now, it's so close but yet seems so far away still.

I think butterflylove and I are applying to the Spokane campus, and KKHappy is applying to the Yakima campus - if I remember correctly, I could also be completely wrong! I stayed overnight in Spokane to take the TEAS also because it would have been too much driving to rush it all in one day! I will have to do the same for an interview if I am given one. I'm still so anxious to get my letter! Those of you who know you have interviews, what time of day are they at?

Congrats on getting your interview @snowleopard13! My interview is on saturday at 3 pm and Cassie was right its Spokane campus. I hope that you guys get your interview letters soon and we could start preparing! I am kind of aware of some basic questions that they might ask, but it would help to know as much as possible so it doesn't throw us off. :) :) It seems like you guys had to travel pretty far to take your TEAS. It would be awesome if more places offeted it.

Mine is Saturday at 8:45 a.m.! Does anyone know how many they interview (approx.) vs. how many they officially accept into the program?

I was wondering about that too! How long are our interviews if anybody knows? They interview everybody on friday, saturday and monday so we could kind of try to figure it out depending on time.

When I talked to my advisor on the Tri-Cities campus she told me that they usually interview 10-15 people more than there are seats for each of the campuses.

As for the interview length I read on one of the other forums on WSU interviews where a2012 said that the interview was 15 mins., made up of three people who are part of the nursing school and you pick your questions from an envelop out of a basket. There are five questions and most people remember the questions being mostly your basic questions that are asked to incoming nursing students.

Most people remember that they make you feel relax and welcome during your interview and if you get there earlier enough you can get a tour of the campus.

Yes, Cassiebella you got it right, I'm applying to Yakima! I still have yet to receive a letter, but you and I are on the opposite side of the state! So hopefully we'll get ours today or Monday. Congrats ladies on your interviews! One step closer! I'm hoping to join you!

What time does your mail typically get delivered? Mine comes around 2:00PM. If its not here today I'm hoping for Monday! If they sent it out Wednesday, definitely count on Monday.

Whenever our mail lady decides she feels like delivering the mail! I think she's been by already today, but I'm not positive. Nothing in the mailbox yet though! I get more anxious by the day!
