Any WGU mentors.

I'm considering becoming a mentor but would like to ask someone some questions if they have or are working as a mentor at WGU. What is the pay like, can you work from anywhere as long as you have internet/phone? I've read lots about the work load and your pretty much on the phone most of the time. I'm just looking for a job that allows me to work from home even when I'm "away" or on the road.

I have applied twice for the mentor position and declined twice without knowing why. I have the credentials as I am already teaching at a brick and mortar.

So sorry! Did you ask why? I remember when I interviewed they said it could be your only job, and I had just committed to a part-time teaching position in an online RN-to-BSN program for at least a year. Were you also going to have other work on the side?

I have a full-time job now. But they could have given a reason. They just said they went with another candidate.
