Any UTHSCSA Accelerated BSN 2016 hopefuls that have started the application process?

I am applying for the Accelerated Nursing BSN program at UTHSCSA starting May 2016. I just applied through NursingCAS, taking the TEAS V in November & hoping there are others out here doing the same! We can give each other some support and get through this process together, I haven't seen any other threads yet.....!

Is anybody taking some of the remaining prereqs right now? I'm freaking out because my semester is supposed to end on May 12 and the program starts on May 9th:nailbiting:. I guess I will have to talk to my professors about taking those finals early. Plus I still have to move from the Dallas area all the way to San Antonio while reviewing for finals and all that. I'm stressing out.

Anyone else taking the CPR class at the school? Or is it better (cheaper) somewhere else? So much to do before May!!

I need to take the CPR class still, I haven't decided. My friend said to take it at school but idk yet. Has anyone started a fb group for our ABSN class yet?

Hello all- 3rd semester traditional student here: Congratulations on your acceptance! I would highly recommend the school CPR class- the instructor is great and the cost is comparable to what you would pay elsewhere. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have. Be sure to start on your vaccinations and titers ASAP. Some people put off their titers till the last minute since they had been vaccinated before, only to find out that they were no longer immune.

Congrats to all you of on your acceptance! I was accepted as well about a week ago and have been looking for a three of students. SO excited to start this journey with all of y'all. Lets do this!!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! I, too, was accepted, but was also accepted to an ABSN+MSN program at Emory U. As a result, I will be declining my offer to UTHSCSA. Hopefully that frees up a seat for someone! Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone, I just found this post for UTHSCSA for this upcoming semester. And congrats to everyone that got in.

I was just wondering by the way, should I be worried about this nursing school's accreditation status because I have already accepted the admission
