Any UCSF Mepn Applicants?

Hi everyone--

Has anyone else out there applied to the UCSF MEPN program? They're supposed to send out letters this month (December) for the interview process. Has anyone gotten a letter yet? Will those that aren't asked to the interview process get a rejection letter now?

I received my interview invitation on Dec 22 last year. Don't stress. They will come in a few weeks. :)

Nothing has been updated on my end yet. It still states all my letters have not been received. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

My letters were updated in the beggining of October. If I were you I 'd probably call or e-mail just to confirm. Does it say at the top of the page that your application is under review?? I am not trying to worry you just think you should confirm for piece of mind. Good luck.

My application states that my letters are 'not available,' but everything else is received. What do your applications state?

So my application at the top looks like this

'Your Application Status: Under Review"

Right after I submitted my app my letters said 'unnavailable' and switched to 'received' for all but one soon after. Then my last letter was received, however I was contacted by e-mail a few weeks ago that my GRE scores hadn't been received. After sending those it was never updated online. I think they just don't keep the online system as up-to-date and unfortuantely don't send confirmation of completion.

mine states 'under review' as well. i feel that this warrants an email to the admissions office. thanks for your input!

It says my application is under review and my letters are unavailable.

Maybe I'll call them next week. It probably wouldn't hurt.

It does worry me a bit since we're so close to getting letters from them.

Mom2boys and fionagurl out of curiosity, what is the first letter of your last name? MAYBE they did it alphabetical order (then I wouldn't worry so much)...mine is L.

i bit the bullet and emailed the nursing office on friday evening. when i hear back, i will let you know.

to answer your question hopefulnurse, the first letter of my last name is 'n.'

My letters still say unavailable. After having a panic attack about this, I emailed them just now. I did get a confirmation initially verifying that they received my GRE scores and my application--so now I am so worried! (Of course, my assumption was that after reviewing said items they just decided I was not worth their time and didn't even bother with their letters.) Worst of all I am supposed to find out on my birthday eeek. Hope it's good news. Either way I can drown my sorrows/celebrate my news in cake.:icon_roll
