I am a pre-nursing student and I was wondering if there were any facilities that will offer tuition reimbursement to nursing students who are working at that same facility? I know with the economy that a lot of the scholarships that could be traded in for work are being taken away. I need to work at least part time and I would like for some financial assistance.

The only one I know of, and I don't know details of how it works, is the VA.
USAJOBS - The Federal Government’s Official Jobs Site is the web site - think that's it.
Most hospitals have done away w/the tuition assistance or have cut it down..most hospitals, if they do offer it, is for employees who have been there over a year and are FT. You can always call the places you are interested in applying and ask the HR dept.
Thank you for the information.

The only tuition reimbursement programs that I know of are at hospitals where you are already required to be an employee to qualify. And most have a stipulation that you must work there 6 or more months before qualifying
