Hello everyone,
I'm seeking some tips from anyone who has taken HESI-PN. I have to take it next Wednesday, and must make an 800 or better to graduate, regardless of our current grade in the class. I just need a little direction. We just finished our last regular exam today and have a OB final on Monday, then HESI on Wednesday, then graduation on Friday, so I'm STRESSIN!!!! I know I know this stuff, but it is still unsettling when you know people who had a 4.0 and failed HESI!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Blessings from TEXAS!!

I took the HESI for my LVN Program last year Aug 05....I failed the 1st time scored 745.....2nd time I used Meds Pub and Saunders Comp Review, and just did questions (75-100) everyday..until test day. We also had to score 800 to graduate (we had 3 chances)...I scored a 965 on my 2nd attempt...Just pray and ask God to help and guide you...You can do it !!!

I have taken the HESI-RN....If you have a Saunders CD...use it! Try to relax you know this stuff....It is all about how to apply what you know....and if you have good test skills that is a plus. Use your ABC's, & all the test taking tips you have been taught...... Get a good night's sleep. Eat a good breakfast, and don't study up to the last minute....give your mind a chance to relax & recharge. Stay away from people that are freaking out!
BTW...You can be your own worst enemy...be positive, you can do it! Hmmmmm I need to remember this, I am stressing about the NCLEX!!!:trout:
Thanks for the help everyone, the BIG DAY is Wednesday!!! I have been doing my HESI practice CD and Saunder's, Saunder's seems pretty easy to me now so I guess that is a good thing. Well, wish me luck, I'll let ya know how I do.
Good Luck to you! From my experience the Hesi CD is waaay harder than the actual test!
