Hello!
I'm wondering if anyone else has applied to SFCC to start in the spring? This may be rare since all nurses New Mexico nursing isn't really active, but thought I would try. Good luck to those who are still taking pre-req's, who are waiting to be accepted from a program, or who are currently in a program!! ☺️
Me either because I know 24 people with higher GPA's. SFCC seems a lot more practical to get in. Thanks girl I really hope I get in!
Yes I plan to work but not a lot of hours! I've been trying to get a PRN job in the hospital so I could work around my school schedule but idk how that will go if I get accepted into SFCC. I wouldn't want to commute to Santa Fe everyday so I would probably move.
Hi, I'm new to this site and just finished reading your conversation with the other girl. I had a few questions for you. I'm interested in applying at sfcc. when you took the Kaplan about how many questions were there? also do you remember what subjects were easiest and hardest? I want to know what I should focus on more?
will they let you start the program if you are missing prereq's? I just need math 121 and developmental psy.
hi, Capriinverno, NurseAlia & Zulily,
looks like i will be applying to SFCC this Jan. to start in the fall, if they take me.
can you tell me how the Kaplan was? is it the 4 sections, reading comp, math, writing & physiology? no anatomy, gen. bio or chem, is that right? i just found out so i don't have much time to prepare...
thanks. i'm glad there's a NM thread.

I totally agree! 24 spots is ridiculous. i don't feel like I'll even have a chance unless i get my GPA up. The tuition is ridiculous as well. Its very scary because there is so much competition. UNM is just ridiculous too lol idk how anyone gets in over there.
I get so intimidated when all these girls in my Patho class start talking about have a 3.8 or 3.9, its just scary lol I agree with you on that!
Alrighty cool. I'll figure out how to PM you.
