Any Potential Regis College Fall 2012 Students?

Hello, I applied early decision for Fall 2012 matriculation into the Accelerated BSN/MSN program and heard Christmas eve that I was accepted. Are there any other members here that are attending the program as well?

I also attended the accepted student afternoon in January and did not get to talk to many people, I think most people there were a bit quiet as was I as well, however I would still like to get to know anyone that has applied and/or accepted.

Thanks for the updates you guys. While I should maybe just move onto other options and forget about DE programs until it is time to apply again, having that last bit of hope that a spot will open up for me to be removed from the wait list is a hard thing to ignore. Knowing that there are so many obviously amazing students choosing to go elsewhere and opening up spots brings me a lot of hope. Thanks for the encouragement!

Don't give up! I am on the waitlist from EA too. I just stopped by Admissions yesterday to try and find out when our group will be re-reviewed (I "stop by" every other week or so). Right now, they are still receiving accept/declines from the regular admissions group. They will fill those spots from the people that were put on the wait list from both EA and regular admissions. They will not say where you are on the waitlist, nor how many people are on the waitlist. The good news is that by the end of March they will know how many people are in the program and how many slots are open.

I am hoping they will "trickle out" acceptances before the end of March but they wouldn't say whether they'll do this or not. Keep your fingers crossed!

Vroussel - Thank you for the info. I was actually told that there are around 60 people on the waitlist right now. So, while there are many, lets just hope that we are top picks :)

wow 60 people is actually surprisingly low. If you think about the number of people that seem to be going elsewhere that leaves a lot of chances for us. Fingers crossed.

I too, am waitlisted! Sad but relieved that the door is still open. When I called to inquire about the waitlist, I was told 80 were on it last year so I am excited to hear a lower number for this year. I hope all of us on here get off the waitlist.

From what I read here, all of you whom are wait listed are determined and eager to get in! That is the attitude to be accepted and what will be absolutely necessary to succeed. Hope the best for all of you!

Has anyone heard anything? Are we all just waiting with crossed fingers? I looked online and the deposit for accepted students is due this Friday so hopefully they have the next people being taken off the wait list lined up and ready to be sent out? sooooo agonizing

Nothing - admissions told me that deposits are due tomorrow as well - so I hope we find out something soon because I have a deposit due at Simmons as well. Regis is my top choice, so I don't want to waste the deposit money at Simmons and then get into Regis, ya know?

This is a miserable wait though! :(

Still waiting myself. I had no idea how tortuous this would be. I'm wondering if they will send out the acceptance notices bit by bit, or if they will wait awhile and then send them in bulk. Anyone know?

That is a good question, I am not sure. When I asked, I was told that they review everyone on the wait list as every spot opens up - so I am assuming acceptances would be sent out one-by-one. I just hate being so helpless and not be able to do anything at this point but wait! ARG! It is unbearable!
