Any Potential Regis College Fall 2012 Students?

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Published

Hello, I applied early decision for Fall 2012 matriculation into the accelerated BSN/MSN program and heard Christmas eve that I was accepted. Are there any other members here that are attending the program as well?

I also attended the accepted student afternoon in January and did not get to talk to many people, I think most people there were a bit quiet as was I as well, however I would still like to get to know anyone that has applied and/or accepted.

Hi!!!I applied early admission as well and was accepted right before Christmas . I also was at the admitted students day. I'm not sure if I am attending yet but it is my number one choice. have you decided if your attending yet ?

I am really leaning toward Regis - but am still waiting to hear from Northeastern as well. Regis only gave me just over 2 weeks to send in my deposit (which is a huge deposit from what I have seen elsewhere), so I have some major decisions to make soon!

When I visited I fell in love with the school but it has a hefty price tag. Plus I would have to move closer to the area. I live too far away to commute. Is Northeastern your number one choice?

I am not really sure! I was totally discouraged and assumed that I would not get into Regis, so everything is a bit haywire as far as my thoughts about the two are. I need to sit down and really write out a pro/con list of the two. But, I really like Regis' program and have heard nothing but great things from current students.

I think they have a really great program. The campus is so inviting. Where did you apply?

I applied to Regis, Simmons and Northeastern. I got into Simmons (only the accelerated BSN), waitlisted at Regis (now in) and am waiting for Northeastern (hybrid BS/MSN program).

You?

I applied to BC, Columbia, Regis, and Umass Worcester. I am leaning towards Umass and Regis though.

I applied to a few programs and applied to Regis early decision. I knew that if I were to be accepted into Regis, I would attend...that is where I am headed, hope to meet any of you who will be attending!

Did you get the email about scheduling? What group did you pick?

I didn't get the email yet - I have to send my deposit in still. $1000 is a lot to scrounge up! :)

I was on the waitlist and just got in last week! As Regis was my top choice, I'll be sending in my deposit this week. I have a question for anyone else who has been accepted though, where do you plan on living? I'm from the Springfield area, so I'm looking at getting an apartment in the Framingham/Weston area, but do not know anyone else in the program.

hello everyone

Congrats to everyone who got into the programs and congrats to those waitlisted. I've applied to Regis and awaiting to here my faith. Ive been told that my letter was sent out but I have been having trouble with my mail and haven't received anything. Regis is my first choice and I just want to know where I stand and if I should continue applying to other places. But just out of curiousity, so I have an idea of where I stand, does anyone mind sharing their BA/BS GPA and any incite on how decisive Regis is.. I graduated with a 3.2 GPA in Biology and did average on my GRE.. do i have a chance?! ::crossing my fingers::
