Any Potential Regis College Fall 2012 Students?

Hello, I applied early decision for Fall 2012 matriculation into the Accelerated BSN/MSN program and heard Christmas eve that I was accepted. Are there any other members here that are attending the program as well?

I also attended the accepted student afternoon in January and did not get to talk to many people, I think most people there were a bit quiet as was I as well, however I would still like to get to know anyone that has applied and/or accepted.

I am also deciding between Regis and Simmons. I have received my letter from Regis and also from MGH, but was waitlisted. I am waiting on Simmons. Although I received an email a couple days ago from Simmons saying they were just getting to my application. So I called and they said they had a huge influx in applicants and we wouldnt hear for another month! I am leaning towards Regis because you receive the bachelors in nursing, but I dont know. I have only been able to visit each place once and I am not from the area, so its hard to choose. I try to do as much research as I can online but I always flip flop between which one I like the most every time I look them up haha. I am going to the accepted students day on March 27th at Regis so hopefully that will help me choose! Such a big decision :) But def leaning towards Regis because the campus is beautiful and I felt at home there.

They must be completely full! Anyone who got accepted know when the deposit is due? I am assuming that is when some spots may open up.

I heard the letters were being sent out.

Congratulations to everyone that got accepted.

I am very excited about for Fall, never thought I would think this way about school.

I know there are many challenges ahead and this will not be easy, but I like that!

I am so discouraged about the wait list. I thought everything in the interview went really well and my qualifications, GRE and GPA were sufficient. I guess I just applied too late :( Fingers are crossed that a opening becomes available!

So regis waitlist (which I got put on from EA) is now my only option. Anyone know anything about when people start hearing? Or let me know if you get off the waitlist?

@heramay I will let you know if I hear about the waitlist. As of now, it is my only option as well. I am thinking about applying to other rolling admissions programs as well if I do not hear soon about the waitlist. I did email admissions at Regis to get some more info about the waitlist as well, so will let you know when I hear back. Fingers crosses for us!!

Congrats to those who have been accepted, and good luck to those who are waitlisted!

I received my acceptance letter this Saturday but sent in a 'decline' response as I got a scholarship to attend MGHIHP. This should open up one more spot for those of you on the waitlist. Good luck!

I also sent in my decline letter to Regis on Saturday as I have decided to attend Simmons unless I get pulled off the waitlist at MGHIHP's DE PNP program. Good luck to those of you still waiting!
