Pitt has the forth ranked basketball team in the nation. It is the one bright spot in the dismal Pittsburgh sports picture.
Unfortuantly, we have season tickets to Duquesne Duke's basketball games...I don't even think they are ranked:confused:

I was just wondering what all of you Pitt nurses thought of the program there. I currently hold a masters degree in physical therapy but have decided to go back to persue a nursing degree. I am planning on applying to Pitt's new Accelerated BSN program for individuals that already hold a degree, with the eventual plan of getting my MSN. There are several other schools in the area that have an accelerated BSN program, but I know that Pitt has a great reputation in the medical field. As former students, were you happy with your education there and did you feel it prepared you for your nursing career? Thanks!
I think it was a good program. I wish I took advantage of more of the programs, activities and internships they offered. I was so naive at that time. I guess what they say is true... you only get out what you put in to a program.. I know they increased/ put more of an emphasis on the clinical time of the program since I left. Now they have a gross anatomy program for nursing students.

I'll be starting nursing school at pitt this fall. I am very nervous, but very excited. Any tips from the nursing school graduates?
