Any one with the Sun Health Group?

Its me again with more questions. For those of you already in AZ or going to AZ is anyone working for or going with the Sun Health group of hospitals?

I saw the recruiters 2005 Dec and have offered me some work but want to know if anyone is with them and how are you finding it. Even if you only know someone would really want to know.

I am going with Sun Health and as far as I know will be going to the Sun City hospital. Have spoken to a UK nurse who worked there from another hospital and she said it was a god one to work and plenty of support but guess I will find out when I get over there. I also saw them in dec 2005 but have been on thier books a little longer than that. Was also lucky after cancelling with them last year due to hubby changing his mind when we changed it back they was more than happy to take me back on :)

Thanks for replying. i think I remember you told me they were in london and went that time. I am hopefully going with them too.Will PM you. So have you been to AZ just to lool around or not. Am just curious as to where to leave coz it will be the NW area of Phoenix from the map. All the best.

yes, went to have a look around in 2004 and spent about 13 days there. New housing has been built since then so we are going to look again in where to live once we know our visas are on the way over to the UK

They never seem to stop building here, when I came over I lived out in the desert now I live in the suburbs!!!!!! All in 20 months

theres lots of groups of hospitals here, and within the groups some hospitals have better reputations than others.

some are "for profit" and some are "not for profit" and this seems to make a difference in the way that they are run and what they pay the nurses.

some pay the nurses well but there are no techs and you give total patient care, and some others pay techs and the work is a bit better balanced as you get help, but maybe the pay will be less.
