Any News from CSU Stanislaus for Spring 2012?

I was wondering if anyone has heard from CSUS for Spring 2012? I was told by admissions that letters go out beginning of December, but I also read that they go out sooner sometimes. *waiting, waiting...*

WIth how many points was that. I just want to know where I would have stood

Idk. My GPA is 3.75 and my TEAS was 76. You probably would have been right around where I am at.

Wow I think so too. If you get in that means I ruined my chances for this semster. Well good luck and post when you do get in for spring !!!! Good job

Bribal1987 My nursing GPA was 3.8 and I got a 86 on the TEAS. I think I got some extra points for being an EMT. I applied to so many schools I can't remember what my point spread was for Stanislaus.

waylonlove, so you're in Stanislaus's program now or did you just get accepted? I am already accepted in a program, but I am still waiting to hear from Stanislaus. I was put on the wait list as #20, and from what I have been reading, people in their 20's on the wait list have been getting in for FALL (which has been more difficult to get into because of more applicants). I am just wondering if it is worth it to wait around depending on my chances for Stanislaus.

I am #24 on the alternate list. I'm still waiting to hear from Hayward and Chico. Did you apply to any other schools?

Oh, OK. What school is your first choice? Yes, like I said, I applied to San Bernardino and I have been accepted. I also applied to Sacramento and Stanislaus, but was put on the alternative list for Stanislaus (#20) and was denied from Sacramento.

Stanislaus is my FIRST choice. But I have to accept loans/pay for my registered nursing classes at San Bernardino by today. I am in a very big bind. Not sure if I should wait around to hear from Stanislaus. My letter said I should hear from the school about my choice by Dec 16. I think I am going to call

Sounds like waiting around for Stanislaus could be a pretty big gamble.

Stanislaus was my first choice as well, but I'm gonna go to the first place I get in.

Yeah, that is exactly where I am at right now. I have already done so much for the program I am in now, It starts Jan. 9!!! All that is left is taking my picture for my badge.

I tried calling, but no answer. I am sure they are very overwhelmed with the amount of calls.

I had transfer orientation today At Stan state and during the pre-nursing session they said 300 applied for the spring semester. Crazy!!

WOW! Does that mean a person number 20 on the alternate list has a chance of getting accepted at the last minute or no? What do you think?
