Any NEW info on the Chandler Gilbert Nursing Program??? THANKS!!!

Hi everyone!!! Just turned in nursing application and I am trying to decide what I should list as my top choices... I live close to Chandler Gilbert but I have only heard bad things about their nursing program. Can anyone give me ANY information on the program?? ANY and AS MUCH INFO would be GREATLY appreciated!!!! THANK YOU!

When I went through block 1 last fall we only had clinicals 2 days a week. Clinicals started halfway through the semester just like they will this year. Two of the LTC facilities went Wed/Thurs and the other two did Wed/Friday. Unless they needed to add more clinical hours, which I doubt, then it's lecture 2 days, clinical 2 days. I had Fridays off.

Oh how I remember the excitment. I am a Banner fellow in block 2. While you are super excited, review or start learning your patho!!! Get a patho nursing review book. You really need to have a solid base of A&P and Patho. Good luck!

Just wonderring if I need to bring anything other than lunch for orientation next week. Does anyone knows? Thanks

Probably $$ if you haven't already bought your uniforms, stethoscope, ect. I think I am going to pick up a scrub jacket, I am sure it will get used as from what I have heard we are not allowed to wear anything over or under our scrubs.

I can't wait. My daughter started school today, and I am so ready to get going.

BTW-have you heard anything about the Med-Surg book? I haven't called anyone in the Nursing office as of yet.

I haven't talk to anyone yet about the med-surg book. I think I'll just wait until orientation before I buy it. Two more weeks to go yeah.gif
