Any New Hampshire Pre-Students??

Just wondering if anyone out here is a NH Pre-Nursing student? I actually haven't started classes yet, but I will be starting my first pre-req in the spring. I already have some pre-req's out of the way because I already have obtained an AS degree from the same school I'd be going to for nursing :)

I will be looking at the program at NHTI.

Woot Congrats to you both!!!! That is sooo exciting!! Looks like all three of us start in the fall!!

I also am a non-traditional student- being 37 and no proior college (thanks to having twins at 18), so this opportunity means so much to me as well.

Just out of interest, does anyone know what the uniform requirement is for NHCTC-Stratham? I am hoping it is not all-white! Thanks

Unless they change it for next year, the uniform at Stratham is hunter green scrub top embroidered with the school logo, hunter green scrub pants, and a white lab coat, also embroidered with the school logo.

I graduated from Stratham a year ago (wow....time flies!). They really do want you to succeed, you just gotta put your time in and do the work that's asked of you. Good luck! Maybe I'll see you in one of your clinical rotations!

If I'm reading this correctly, there are four of us reading this thread and we all got accepted. I wonder if there is a correlation? I'm glad the news was all good!

Kukukajoo, maybe you're as non-traditional (a student) as me. My son will be a freshman at UNH the same year that I start in Stratham. How strange is that? :)

Ifod4me- I was wondering the same thing too! All the "smart" nurses come here or they get enlightened here and gain entry!! There has to be a connection! I know we are all very dedicated too!

And yup- my twins are in college now, one at same school as me, the other in CT. It is interesting and this house has become totally academic!! You can find highlighters in the bathroom here I think! ;)

andre - Thanks for the information regarding the uniform. "Hunter green" sounds just fine to me - I am sure we'll find out for definite soon enough.

I have heard many good things about the Stratham program - I am so excited to get to find out for myself! You mentioned that maybe you'll see one of us in clinicals - which hospital are you at?
