Hi everyone. I'm new in this site and I just want to know things about nclex-rn nowadays. I'm a graduate of nursing in the Philippines and I already passed the licensure there. I graduated year of 2012 and I'm planning to take the Nclex-RN next year (2014) here in California.
Here are some of my questions: :)
1. How many months did you guys wait after passing all the requirements for nclex to found that you're eligible to take the exam?
2. Did you pay already the appropriate fees before submitting the request of transcript to your nursing school?
3. What's the best nclex-rn review book/s that you may suggests?
Thanks in advance :)
Hello ! as far as I know.. Cali is requiring us foreign graduates to retake some subjects.. It's due to concurrency issue And I am one of them, my analyst sent me a letter to retake medsurg and recently finished my medsurg in one of the schools here in Cali. Most of the foreign grads I know had to take certain subjects to be able to take the boards here in Cali. Goodluck applying hope you won't get that concurrency letter
How many months did you take the additional subject and from what school? Thanks :)
hi i just want to ask coz im a NLE passer in philippines and LPN in uae and im planning to apply for tourist visa next year and take nclex in l.a, if God willing that ive granted a visa. do nurses nowadays that is applying for nlcex there in cali needs to study first before they can apply for exam? do you think it will be easier to take nclex in other states like new jersey, nevada like that? thank you
You can take the exam anywhere in the world so may be hard applying for tourist visa, please note I said hard not impossible. You will not be able to apply to CA without a valid US SSN and will not be allowed to sit the exam without approval from a state. NCLEX is a national examso doesn't matter which state you apply to the questions all come from the same pot. Also CA plus some other states all currently have issues like concurrency
