Just curious to see who is out there...that has gone through or will be going through the program at Monty Tech. I start in the fall and can't wait!
Hi, You have a lot of great advice to offer. I had my interview yesturday and I am waiting to hear if I'm in. At orientation can you bring a sample of the flashcards you suggest we start making. I want to spend from the moment I hear I'm in preparing for the program to start. The interview went very well and I got lots of info on how the program is run, its a lot so congrats to all that havve made it through and I hope to make it also.
Congrats Updyke!
I'm anxiously awaiting Monday as well, want to know all that needs to get done over the summer. May need a study group BEFORE school starts,,hhahaaa! Keep posting on here as I'm sure we won't know who is who on Monday night. Math is my worst subject so will be doing a lot of studying/practice over the summer. Waiting to see what else I need to be working on.
Hey Meg,
Matthews Medical Books, can order online Montachusett Regional Vocational Tech. School: Home You may want to stop by the school and pick up another form as there are 6 or 7 books you need for 1st term. 2 books on Maternity & Pediatric won't be published until late Sept, Ms. LaFrance is aware of that and says that is ok, as we won't need them in Sept...whew! I only have one more to order.
I have already started the math (my worst subject) really nervous about being able to pass the math 1st term. I've started a little of the Anatomy & Physiology, haven't done any of the ATI program yet.
Got uniforms today; the shirts are a little tight, not sure what I will do about them. The rest fits well.
Getting office/study area all clean up and straightened out so I won't have to deal with that once school starts, everything will be in place.
What have you been up to? Are you freaking out about anything or all calm cool and collected?

You will only be meeting with Ms. LaFrance; the director of the program. You will not get a tour of the school. But you will only be using one classroom for the 10 months. With the exception of three different skills nights.
The year is very the hardest thing you will ever go through. You have to be ready to commit yourself completely to this program in order to succeed.
