No, they are bright enough to understand that if you set up a licensing exam, it's purpose is to resonably predict acceptable performance, so don't put extra obsticles in the way for purely political reasons.
I know of many paramedics who have done this program and none have had any problem getting jobs in the departments they wanted.

Hello Everyone!I have an question for nursing in Michigan. Does the Michigan Board of nursing have any additional requirements after graduation from Excelsior or is graduating enough. I have heard about other states that require additional clinicals or classes.

The BON finds ec totally acceptable, I called to speak with them about deaconess college of nursing and they said that ec and deaconess were ok. Just to let you know, there a few people on these boards that love to knock online programs. Do not listen to them, they are full of beans!! Good Luck :) colleen
