Thank GOD!! I thought I was all alone!!! Wow! 20 yrs experience!! Thats a long time. If male in this proffession is a minority now, I cant imagine how it was 20 yrs ago.
Its good to know I'm not alone. Well I actually start the Nursing program in the end of August. I'm excited but also scared. I hope all goes well in my quest to become an RN. Wish me luck, I'll definately rely on you guys fo help when I need it.
Thanks

I'm in my first semester of an ADN program in Tampa. There are about 8 guys in my class out of 33. The teacher said she has not seen so many guys in a single class before.

I'm a male pre-nursing student in Daytona Beach. I'm trying to find out if there is any financial help for us males going through school, any advice? My ultimate goal is CRNA, any thoughts there as well?
Thanks...

Worksource!
Worksource is program designed to help people get and keep jobs. They offer tuition help for high demand jobs, such as nursing. You have to be accepted into a program before they help you though. And it helps if you have a kid and are single or a low income family.
