Does anyone know of any hospitals offering a stipend/fellows type program where the hospital sponsors you in the program, pays tuition, books, etc but then you agree to work for them for a designated amount of time?Any help would be appreciated!!
There's a teaching hospital in Lubbock, Texas that will employ you while you work during school and after for such an agreement. I forget the name of the place but it shouldn't be too hard to find; Lubbock is a small town.
US Dept of Health and Human Services offers this
Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program, that you can work off nursing school funding
by working in facilities;

I don't know of any program in Kansas that offers tuition in exchange for work promise.
There are many hospitals/facilites with tuition reimbursement, or tuition assistance.
You should check with Financial Aid of the school where you're interested in attending.
Hope this helps.
