I went to Harrison College (previously IBC) and did not have a good experience. I was not going for Nursing though so I can't say anything about that. I was also taking all my courses online and working full time and to be honest was not taking it very serious.
I hope it works out for you, make sure to keep us updated! Good luck!

Hello, I just wanted to respond to your thread. I too met with an admissions rep from Harrison College. I have a friend who works at another campus (non-medical), and thought I should check it out. I went ahead and applied to the college after getting the info because I feel it is the best choice for me. I was accepted into the LPN-ASN UCF Program and was supposed to begin in late August. Unfortunately, the distance from home, and the early clinical, would have made it to where I had to stay overnight in Fort Wayne one night every week. It would have put alot of stress on my family. Anyway, I am so glad that Harrison is a candidate to receive the NLN now because I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Although I was not originally planning on attending a traditional ASN program, I have found that it really will not take that much longer, and should be worth a few extra months. I could have continued to wait for a minute chance in the local Community College ( GPA good, but not all A's) or done an online program, but I learn better face to face, so this is my chance. Glad to see your post!
I also was waiting forever to get into the community college but cannot wait forever to get accepted! I found the Harrison program to be the most convienent for my timeframe and my family life! Glad to see someone else on this board going to harrison too! Good luck! Have you been accepted? Do you start sept 28th too?
Hopefully I will know about acceptance soon! As you know, there is a process that has to take place. If all goes well, I will start in September! I will keep you posted, and Good Luck to you!
Good Luck!! I got a call from the financial aid office before I got my acceptance letter and found out I was in that way lol! Good luck to you too, hope to see you in sept!

I'm in the process of trying to get into the Nursing Program at Harrison College also. I have my first appointment at the campus on Thursday, and hopefully will schedule for the TEAS test that day. Have you taken this test, yet? I think I'm more nervous about that test than the entire nursing program!
Try not to worry too much! (I know easier said then done) I have taken the Teas at another Institution, so I was able to have ATI send my results to Harrison. Just remember it is timed, so try not to spend too much time on one question. Best of Luck!
Hello, I found out today that I have been accepted! I am very excited, and more than ready to get started! Hope to see you on the 21st!
Congratulations, acbrown!
I'm still in the application process. I go next week for the Orientation Meeting, and am using a study guide to refresh some skills for the TEAS. If all goes well, I hope to join you in September!
congrats acbrown!!! See you the 21st! Are you going on 8/31 to try to test out of the keyboarding course?
Good luck degreebound! Hope you rock out on the teas and get accepted!
Hello, I just got this message! I went to test out of keyboarding on 9/2. I am getting so excited to get started! We will have to email each other sometime to get each other's name. That way we can look for each other at the nurses meeting! Talk to you soon!:typing
