Any good australian travel companies?

Hello All!!!

Thanks for reading! I am looking to do some travel nursing in/around Sydney, Australia in a few months and am on the hunt for a great travel company! I can see several posts on here previously for this but most are a few years old with a lot of the agencies out of business/name change/etc.

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences they would like to share? Or any advice in general on the topic would be so so helpful!!

I worked with a small agency in Sydney that did rural placements as well as metro work. It is called Alliance Healthcare. also had some friends work with Nursing Australia and Belmore and Mediservie. Just google them, you can sign with as many as you want and see how you go.

Thank you! I will look at them! Do you know if they still handle overseas nurses? I looked at several companies and I believe this was one of them and it was questionable as to whether they still dealt with nurses not from australia ... On a side point, how do you feel the job market is out there for overseas traveling nurses? Is there a lot out there?

I am not sure. When I started in 2008 they were dealing with me from Ireland. I'd say the only way is by emailing and asking.

I have no idea how the travel nursing market is now. I have a permanant job for the last 18 months and am in the middle of my PR application.

i'm a nurse from the US looking to do travel nursing in australia too!! any luck with any companies so far? have you signed with anyone yet?
