Hi everyone! I am already a permanent resident in the US.. I live in Wisconsin.. The state requires TOEFL iBT & CES before you can take the NCLEX-RN/LPN.. I took the TOEFL already and exceeded the total score. I got 96, but the problem is I only got 23 for the speaking part.. =( I read that you can still use the total score only if you are active in the Certification Program.. is that true? Or should I retake the TOEFL? another $170 again!grrrr.. It's actually my fault I did not do any reviews.. I just took the exam and hoped for the best...any pieces of advice anyone?
:crying2:I'm planning to take the TOEFL again on January, but have to take my self-review seriously...

Do you have a US SSN? English exam is only required if you are applying for a interim permit however if you have no US SSN then you can no longer apply to the CA state for licensure
Hi every1!!!
I just contacted my BON & they said they will just consider the over-all score!!! That really made me sooo happy..!:yeah:Now, I don't have to retake TOEFL!!! Thank GOD.. =) A piece of advice everyone, make sure you contact first your BON before jumping to any conclusion, each BON has different requirements! Customer agents in CGFNS do not really know all of each state's..
I have SSN and Green Card. So I do not need TOEFAl. Thank you!!!!:yelclap:
