Any FCCJ students here

Published

Hi all~

Just wondering if there are any FCCJ students in the forums here. Would also like to ask about some Prof's if so.

Thanks~

Brenda

I'm no longer at FCCJ but earned my AA there in 2000. Just wanted to say hi and good luck in your classes everyone!

I miss the beach, but not the bugs! :rotfl:

Hi everyone! I'm Lynn. I returned back to school after a 26 year "break". I'm taking A&P 1 this summer at Deerwood with James Johnson, so I was really happy to hear that 2008nurse2B said he was "excellent". I'm already signed up to take A&P 2 with him in the Fall.

After this fall, I will be DONE with pre-reqs and general courses.

Anyway, nice to be here.

Lynn

Hi Lynn, I am applying for Fall 08. I had Dr. James Johnson for A&P I and II, he is a GREAT teacher!!!! I made two A's. So I just wanted to stop by and say you will be fine in his class Hint: be sure to study his class notes!! Good Luck!:)

I take his class notes and put them on index cards and take them everywhere I go. When I get a few minutes, I look through them and basically memorize each card to the point where I can close my eyes and visualize what is on each one. It really helped a lot! Everything that was on the test came straight from the note packets he hands out for each chapter.

I love his teaching style.

Lynn

Has anyone ever had Prof Estes for A & P 1 & 2? If so, what is your opinion of his class? Would you take him again? Thanks.

I just got accepted for Fall. I applied with 226 points. I heard there were a lot of applicants, like over 800 with 168 spots to be filled.

I just got accepted to start Fall classes for the RN program and I am so excited!!!!! I am trying to find anyone that lives in the areas of the beach or southside that got accepted too. I live in Ponte Vedra and I am dreading that drive all the time to North campus so I would like to find someone to maybe carpool with sometimes and to study with. Mainly to form a study group.

I think there's a loooooong thread posted for the fall 08 group. Search the forums for fccj 2008. I'm sure you'll find lots of people that will want to start a study group. Congrats and good luck!
