Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations

Hey thank you! Ms. Gallo's email is [email protected]

What did you say in the email to her?

Congratulations!

Hey I emailed her saying that I applied for ABSN program and would love to know whether I was accepted or not.

Anyone from the AAS heard anything?

I just emailed her as well and was told that I'm accepted!!!

Hey guys, I got accepted!! I emailed Ms. Gallo and she replied within half an hour saying that I am accepted to the ABSN program. Those waiting should email her and ask for the status. Super excited!

Congrats!!

Hey! Those accepted, are you thinking how to go about financing for the program. I would love to hear.

paris614 how do you like the program at BI?

Pros and Cons like any and every school, however, I do not regret choosing PSON! Time sure does fly! I blinked my eye and here I am about to enter my third semester.

Congrats to everyone who got in! Just out of curiosity, those who got in did you guys have any prior experience working in medical setting or currently work in medical setting. Just trying to see if that's what they geared toward

Hey yes so I am working as a medical assistant for past 3.5 years, interned/shadowed at 3 different hospitals, and went to medical outreach trip to Dominican Republic. I would think PSON takes holistic approach when reviewing application. Good Luck!

I actually don't have much medical experience, if at all, and got accepted. I graduated undergrad with a business degree and have only worked in corporate marketing/advertising. I recently started working at a medical office as an assistant, but other than that I had really strong rec letters and am currently taking my pre-reqs. The only one I don't have is the math for medications course, but I read somewhere that that one isn't actually required and can be substituted for any math course.
