Any Fall 2017 Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Students?!

Published

Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations

I just received the formal acceptance letter by email (Ms. Gallo told be before that I got accepted week ago). I would have to take Math for Medications and Ethics course. Anyone here can recommend a CUNY school where I can take them over the summer. Thanks.

You cans do them at BMCC

@Tammybee Is it Mathematics for Health Sciences? Do you know if that course is equivalent to Math for Medications? Thanks for your response!

Yes. It's called math 104.

Quick question for the Ethics class.

At BMCC is it the PHI 115 Cultural and Ethical Issues in Science and Technology or

PHI 120 Ethics?

Thanks

Welcome

Hey guys! To everyone who has been accepted - someone made a thread for accepted students: https://allnurses.com/general-nursing...t-1156916.html

For anyone who is currently attending PSON ABSN program and is willing to shed some light on the program - that would be amazing! I am in between LIU Brooklyn and PSON right now. I'm leaning towards PSON but am nervous because there isn't a lot of information as it's such a new program. If anyone could give some insight on it that would be awesome.

Thanks so much guys and congrats to everyone who got in!

Hi Paris614 do they have an evening program? and do mind sharing how many days per week you are required to be in class/clinicals thanx

Pros and Cons like any and every school, however, I do not regret choosing PSON! Time sure does fly! I blinked my eye and here I am about to enter my third semester.

For those accepted did you only find out by emailing Mrs Gallo or did you find out via official email? If official email how did that come via the nursingcas website or just to your email? Thanks!

has anyone still not hear back? i'm honestly getting really worried. everytime i emailed Ms. Gallo she says my application is with the admissions committee. I applied back in October and i just emailed her again but i'm worried ill get the same response. i really dont understand!!!
