Any CNA job leads in NYC?

I am a pre-clin nursing student in NYC and I am looking for CNA jobs in the city but it's been so hard. I am looking for any leads, mainly in Manhattan and the Bronx. I was hoping there were other CNA/nursing students out here that love and frequent this site as much as I do so that we could network a little. Please let me know if you know of any CNA job leads for a newly certified CNA w/ CPR and HHA homecare cert's and experience. Most places I have found want a 1 year of experience.

I have tried online and found some leads, I have also tried walking in to a nursing home facility and security didn't let me go to the HR department without an appoitment (that was a suprise), that really sucked!! Anyway hoping to hear from anyone with leads/advice. Thanks !!

Wow, I started that thread a looong time ago, it's been a couple of years, ha. I finally managed to get a CNA job offer but it didn't pay well since I didn't have much expereience so I declined the offer. I moved on and ended up getting another position in a hospital and so I stopped looking. Hope you get something soon though!:)
