Hello! I would like to meet other Central FL Community College nursing students. I am currently taking my prereqs. and I wanted to know more about their program.

Well I am a Florida resident with all my pre-reqs and cannot get in for at least a year. They are not accepting any more apps until march of 2011. I applied for LPN as I don't want to wait a year maybe year and a half to get my RN. I will bridge instead. Good luck though!

Are you sure? I jsut talked to my advisor today and they said there is no waiting list still. All I have to do is finish up my Fall semester of pre-reqs, and take the HESI and I am applying.

If you read on the web site, under programs and go to the Information session, it tells you on there that there are no more applications being accepted until March 1. There is talk in some of my classes now that people are going to camp out overnight! They are only going to fill for next August. Here is a clip from the info session:

The next application period for the ADN program begins on March 1, 2011 at 8 am. We will accept applications for the August 2011 full-time option only. The application period will be open until the class/cohort is full.

Hmm, on the site is says "as of 3/1/10". Maybe it has opened up since then. I am going to talk to an advisor again on Wednesday. I hate how you can never get a straight stroy for anything at CF!!!
