I'm considering an hybrid bridge program in a different state and fly in for the clinical part. Anyone else go that route? CA is so competitive and time consuming. Ugh.

I checked their website, it says pre reqs is to have a Oklahoma lpn license ?. Did they just change that?

May I check if you heard back from Hutch or get more info for the hybrid option?
Thanks

It seems a lot better than the one in FL with the word "international" in its name that one CA LVN warned CA LVN's to watch out for. She said the program has an attitude toward nurses from CA. Look up both threads.
May I ask if you can give some keywords to search for these two threads. I've been searching for "hutchingson" and "california" but could not find the thread that the California LVN attended Hutchingson.
Thank you.

The real issue is not the LPN license for Oklahoma. If you have LPN/LVN license from any state, you can apply for Oklahoma license by reciprocal or endorsement. It's an extra step, but not a big issue.
Main issue for some states, especially California is that they do not accept online/hybrid program for RN registration. Even after you get the RN license from Oklahoma from the online/hybrid program, California in general will not issue license by endorsement/reciprocal.
I would like to know if someone has done it and get license in California.
Thank you.
