I was just wondering if there were any other Medics running around in here. I spent 12 years as a 91B out of that 6 were as a 91B2F. Speak out and let's hear from y'all.

Lunah you will like Fort Carson. I also miss Germany. My husband and I often discussed how we would have chosen to stay there like so many US servicemen/women choose to do. My daughter has brought up the fact that X number of years had gone by with us not making our periodic trip to Germany.
My husband was stationed at Ft. Carson (he was infantry/11B, AKA "11 Bulletcatcher" or "11 Bang-Bang"), and he stayed in Colorado Springs for a number of years after he got out of the Army. We love the Springs! :) It would be a bonus to get stationed at Ft. Carson -- he has a standing job offer at a friend's tattoo shop there in the Springs.
It's kind of funny, after starting this thread my wife received a recruiting letter from DA to work as a civilian, at Landstuhl. We have discussed it a few times, but she was rather flattered that the Army solicited her for a position.
I got my ID badge from the hospital I'm starting work for and it says:

Steve, Hello...!
I was at Google and saw your post so I thought I'd reply, all these years later, apparently.
I enlisted in '69 and went to RVN in June '70 as a 91A10/20 who knows.
I served with the 25th ID and later with the 101st where I was invited to join the division's dustoff platoon, 'Eagle Dustoff'. I flew from about July '71 to Dec '71. So I did 18 months in Vietnam.
I was then sent to the 507th Med Det (AA) at Fort Hood where I flew medevac from Jan to Dec '72.
When I was with the Nat'l Guard in CA in '87, I eventually joined the 126th Med Co. (AA) which was based at Mather AFB, near Sacramento. I was with a small detachment that was started down in the L.A. area. By then I was a 91B2F.
I later transferred to a Mech Inf unit close to home in L.A. where I was eventually promoted to PSG as first, an E-5 and later was promoted to E-6. So I was a six in a seven slot.
I got out sometime in '93.
Hope you are well. If you get this, buzz me back, yes?
