Any admitted Baylor University Distance ABSN Fall 2022?

Published

Recently admitted and trying to find others in the program. Sorry if this is not how to post on here - I’m new to this.

I’ve created a facebook group for us. Just search “Baylor Distance ABSN Fall 2022 Cohort”

Yes, that's right...you mentioned before that you were "recently admitted". I'm very excited for all of us. I'm finishing up one pre-req now and I start World Religion in June. I'm still looking for a bible based religion course. I think I may have found one through McLennan Community College, but I am waiting to hear back from my assigned advisor. I'm hoping to start that course in June as well.

Lets all keep in touch ?

Initially I was going to take my course at Central Christian College of the Bible but never heard back to fully complete my application. So I’m taking a New Testament self-pace course at West Texas A & M.

I agree we should definitely keep in touch!

@candigurl_ & @bri2014 McLennan has Phil 1316 & Phil 1317 which are approved. Phil 1316 covers the Bible based religion. I was initially going to take the religion courses at West Texas A&M but those courses are $699 each. Since I have 3 pre-reqs to take I’d spend way less at McLennan CC.

I’d love to keep keep in touch! I’m not sure who started the facebook group for this cohort but did you both join?

OMG! I’m definitely going with McLennan versus WTAMU for the Bible based course!! I’m taking 2 courses at Lone Star and they were $270 each. I’m so glad both of you mentioned McLennan!

I joined the facebook group (Baylor Distance ABSN 2022 Cohort) created by@bri2014!

@candigurl_ I started the fb group and it’s only 3 of us in the group as of now. I’m happy to talk via fb.

@rmt0rres I’m still waiting to hear back from McLennan. I was accepted, but I can’t figure out how to enroll in the Phil 1316. ?

I’ll message y’all on facebook.

@bri2014 & @candigurl_ I had to have the department chair enroll me. There system is a little tricky. I’m taking Phil 1316 minimester because that course was so difficult to find and I want it out of way.

*Also, I tried messaging on facebook but I’m so confused on how to use messages on there. I think FB will be easier to keep in contact but since I don’t use social media it’ll just be a learning curve for me LOL. Thank you bri2014 for creating the FB group.

I was able to register a few minutes ago (I think--haha). I agree, their system is very tricky. I'll follow-up with the chair tomorrow to confirm that I'm registered--thanks for his contact info. I wanted to take the minimester as well, but I've heard scary things about that professor. So I registered for Summer 1 instead.
