Anxiously Awaiting for results in Cali

Hi all,

I took my boards for the second time this past Monday (Oct. 6th)...I stopped at 75. Got 2 SATA and 1 med math calculation. Had mostly priorities, meds, and infection control. Are those considered low level questions??? The first time around I did 265 questions and that was killer...

I've been checking to see if my name is up for the CA BRN and still nothing...I know I need to be patient.

Did anybody else take their test on Monday in California and is waiting for their results???

I just need an extra boost of support please.

I empathize with your worry. It seems nearly universal that one walks out of the test feeling uncertain, often doubtful, and sometimes despairing, or bordering on such.

I recently went through the same experience and for similar reasons such as yourself. I had only two SATA questions which I did not love my chances of getting right, and zero calculations. I come to understand that this may be due to luck of the draw. (btw, just because it is a calculation question does not necessarily make it a passing question.) The computer shut down at 75. I felt like I was finally getting into a groove at question 70! I thought I blew it. I did not.

All I can say is hang in, try to distract yourself. You will likely not be fully consoled by any words or gestures of support in lieu of the results. The results will come, and I do hope they will be favorable.

Unless you have a SSN then you will not see your name on Cali website but have to wait for snail mail
