I have just applied to the nursing program at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster. I just wanted to see if anyone else has applied yet. Hopefully we see how this goes.

ALSO!!! I just found out that they opened Spring for 60 students instead of the usual 40!!

I was #50 but I heard there could be a lot of ppl that deferr cuz they want to start in fall.. I also heard that nobody can really see the list other than the dean so idk how accurate numbers could be, I've gotten 3 different numbers since March so Idk I'm praying for a miracle lol

I'd like to start in the fall too but hey if there's a miracle I can get in before that I'll take it! Lol Do you know if the program year round or do they get summer off?

We get summer & intersession off but can precept at a hospital after our 2nd semester.

Is everyone still waiting for the letters for spring 2016? I'm so impatient, I feel like I've been waiting forever!

Yes!! Time has slowed down lol.. 2 weeks from Monday (10/26).... Hopefully we'll all hear something :)

Ohh! I was thinking it was going to happen at the beginning of October. Because of the letters we had to turn in saying we were still interested. I thought I didn't get in. But then read this post and it gave me hope! Who have you been talking to? I was to nervous to call and ask because I didn't want to be disappointed after already waiting a year, to wait even more. I'm glad everyone else on this understands where I'm coming from!

I just email the ladies in the HS office. They can't give out numbers or "expected" dates for getting in but she told me they usually send out spring letters 2nd week of November.. I'm so anxious!! I've waited 1 year & 3 months lol..

Okay! That makes me feel better. I applied last December. Before the cut off date. I hope I did well enough in points. Or knew where I was at on the waitlist. I just want to feel like all my hard work is finally going to pay off, you know?
