Antelope Valley College Spring 2016

Published

Hello everyone,

I have just applied to the nursing program at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster. I just wanted to see if anyone else has applied yet. Hopefully we see how this goes.

I can't get on the uniform website either! :(

Hmmm.. I wonder if they know the site is down.

I'll email them tomorrow. Are you guys going to the sample uniform try on?

Yeah, I've tried on other scrubs just for an idea but I'm different sizes in different brands lol

So the allheart site is having a huge blackfriday sale and the site they gave us isn't even working.... id love to buy my scrubs now at a decent price because the books and accessories ate all my money up. Has anyone emailed them about the website yet? :(

*EDIT UPDATE*

my friend just called the department and they should have the site working within the next week. they actually had no idea it was down..

Well you can buy a cute pair of scrubs for psychiatric clinicals lol glad someone got a hold of them tho!! Is your friend starting to program with us?

Yes she is! Sorry i havent been on here much. Been busy with finals coming up plus all these nursing stuff. Anything new? :)

I totally understand! I have a big paper due as a final & 2 tests :( not much new on my end.. I'm gonna try to get into the CPR class at AVC on feb 2nd just gotta get the funds saved up lol what about you? & yay!! For more ppl we know in the program lol

Just trying to get all my stuff done as well. I took a CPR class locally and its way cheaper than the $70+ dollar one they will offer on Feb. I only paid $55! Just waiting for my appointment for my shots and that's all I have so far.

Really? Who does the class? I need anything that saves some kind on money lol I still have to buy the books & scrubs & registration fee/ parking pass

Yeah I spent like... $1k already but I bought everything already. They said if u buy the books through avc they will give a coupon during the orientation. But personally the books I bought were way cheaper than retail so I'm happy about that. You can buy them later if u like though. And I did it through AVU it was pretty fun with my friend. I had a good instructor. Most people will wait for the Feb class though so I've heard
