Answered over 265 questions in NCLEX RN

Posted

Good day everyone! I just took the NCLEX RN last July 2 and Im applying for licensure in Saipan BON and up until now Im totally nervous with the upcoming official results. I thankfully got the "good pop-up" from the Pearson Vue trick and Im just banking on its accuracy based on what Ive read from here and from all over the internet. May I know from anyone of you here who is in the same situation and who already got the result? Im going insane now. Responses are truly appreciated. Kind regards.

Considering the administrators of the NCLEX state that the minimum number of questions is 75 and the max is 265, one of 2 things has occurred... 1) you are mistaken on the number of questions you actually took, or 2) you didn't take the NCLEX-RN examination.

To determine if you actually took the NCLEX-RN, have you logged into the Pearson Vue website to verify? You can look at your current activity or history to see what it shows. I just verified and it shows NCLEX-RN for me. If the Pearson Vue website does indeed show NCLEX-RN, then you must be mistaken on the number of questions you believe you answered.

Good luck and report back.

I can't be wrong with the exam I took. I checked it how many times already with my Pearson Vue account and actually do the PVT and it works everytime. I just hope i mislook it. Is it possible that a candidate will exceed the number of items? I'm so tired of worrying.

No it's not possible to exceed the maximum of 265 questions. Maybe it was 260 and you mistook the 6 for an 8

Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts. I hope this is it. I'm just relying on the PVT. That's my only hope. :(
