I dress like I walked out of a Dracula movie, but I have a weakness for hello kitty. Ive actually been searching for a hello kitty messenger bag to keep my laptop in. Or even better a nightmare before Christmas one to go with my purse :0. Whatever makes you happy, I'm 17 turning 18 in 2 months.
I'm the same way! I'm almost 29 and I still get a little giddy when I see Lisa Frank folders lol. I didn't get one, but I did buy a magenta trapper keeper :)
haha! Me too! I LOVE Lisa Frank's stuff and I'm 30 years old. My 16 year old sister had some pencils laying around that were from Lisa Frank and I totally took some and I use them in Nursing school. Some things just never get old!
If it makes you smile, do it! There are going to be days when you are sitting in class and you will need a smile-you will be tired, and forgot your snack, and the classroom will be too warm or too cold, the professor's watch was 15 minutes faster than your cell phone time and you missed something important.. Not to mention the people who appreciate your binders will be like-minded, so you might even make a friend over it.

So I may be turning 28 next month but I am still very much a childlike spirit. I enjoy the cute, fun, and happy things in life. They help keep me in high spirits while facing terrible challenges. I've purchased two large 3 ring binders - one light blue, one light pink - and they have the clear layer where you can insert a picture of your choice. I really want to go with a My Little Pony (newest generation) picture... do you think this will be looked down upon as "unprofessional"? (It won't be going to clinicals, it's strictly for class work.)
p.s. my brand new laptop is pink, too :uhoh21:
Just wanting to know if I am making a mistake. I can't help myself sometimes, I love shiny things...
